VINTAGE NOTE

Costume jewellery was part of Christian Dior’s couture vision from his first collection in 1947. Working with specialist jewellery makers, the house used ornament and sparkle to complete a silhouette, treating the finishing detail as part of the outfit itself. In this pendant, the frame gives the initials the completeness of a small medallion, with open space keeping the ornament visually light.
