Costume jewellery was part of Christian Dior’s couture vision from his first collection in 1947. Working with specialist jewellery makers, the house used ornament and sparkle to complete a silhouette, treating the finishing detail as part of the outfit itself. In this design, bright accents bring that decorative spirit to the monogram, letting a recognisable letterform catch the light.
