Christian Dior Vintage CD Logo with Rhinestone Gold-Tone Necklace

A Signature,
Made Personal

Open CD lettering sits within a round gold-tone pendant, with small raised details adding texture around the edge. The frame gives the signature a tactile, medallion-like presence. The raised edges create small shifts of light, adding depth that becomes more apparent at close range.

VINTAGE NOTE

Costume jewellery was part of Christian Dior’s couture vision from his first collection in 1947. Working with specialist jewellery makers, the house used ornament and sparkle to complete a silhouette, treating the finishing detail as part of the outfit itself. The textured frame gives this piece a similarly ornamental mood, while the open lettering keeps its centre readable and light.

Diorella was drawn to the contrast between the tactile border and the open centre. It has the interest of a small keepsake, yet enough clarity to work with modern clothes: a fine knit lets the raised detail become the focus.
